Programming

Overview

MNIDF workshops will be held at Hot House from October 21st - 25th, 2024. The festival includes 3 weeklong workshops, an artist panel conversation, and 3 mainstage performances at the TekBox. 

Workshops

Workshops will be led by guest artists Chummeng Soun,  Peter Veth, and Rosa Lay, and Garret Sour, Minnesota-based emerging artist and principal dancer of Wattanak Dance Troupe. 

Festival participants will work directly with them through daily classes across a variety of dance styles.

Parking: There is free, off-street parking in the lot behind the building, all signs marked ‘Kennedy’ are open to park. There is also free street parking surrounding the building on Kennedy and McKinley streets.

Performances

Minnesota International Dance Festival celebrates Cambodia as the 2024 Guest Country. Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th MNIDF presents “Cambodia”, a vibrant performance that brings together many voices of the Cambodian diaspora.

October 26th at 2:00pm & 7:30pm

$25 General Admission | $15 Students

Saturday matinee, join us after the show for an artist panel with featured choreographers. Celebrate the vast diversity that Cambodia has to offer.

We invite you to join us to enjoy the talented voices of local and international artists with roots in Cambodia.
