WELCOME TO THE MNIDF 2026: September 28th - October 3rd!
On September 28th, Dance Projects by ME opens the third annual Minnesota International Dance Festival, bringing together international dance instructors, choreographers, and emerging Twin Cities artists for a week of community exchange through workshops and performances. This year we welcome Ecuador as our special guest!
Each year the festival features a different guest country to promote cultural diversity and exchange.

Workshops
Sept. 28th - Oct. 2nd
Dancers of all levels can participate in one, two, or three daily workshops during MNIDF.
The 3 workshops will be held at the Center for Performing Arts, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Our workshop classes are open to students age 18+ from all backgrounds and levels of dance experience.
REGISTRATION OPENS AUG. 10th
Full scholarships are available to all students,
creating accessibility by eliminating financial barriers.

MNIDF 2026 performances will be held at the Southern Theater located Minneapolis, MN.
MNIDF benefits the dancers and community members of the Twin Cities and greater MN. Participants in festival workshops and audiences reflect the diverse fabric of this community. Its reach extends beyond the local area including international artists and dance artists across the state. Audience members of all ages are welcome.

Dance Projects by ME mission is to cultivate space for dance projects inspired by diverse styles and community exchange. We strive to make dance accessible through choreography, education, and performance. As an organization, we create events and moments including community workshops and performances to increase dance accessibility for audiences and movers in the Twin Cities. Our projects welcome participants from diverse backgrounds, with all levels of dance experience, and movement ability.
